The Children’s Research Fund is pleased to announce the 2018 Campaign and Children’s Ball co-chairs: Chris Keogh, Holly and Matt Maloney, and Trish Rooney. On May 10, 2018, they kicked off the campaign with a cocktail party and revealed this year’s theme, I’m In. We hope you will save the date for this year’s Children’s Ball on December 1, 2018, and are pleased to announce The Boeing Company as a presenting sponsor.
All funds raised this year will support the Children’s Research Fund’s $10 million commitment to the full spectrum of research activity through the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute at Lurie Children’s. This support is crucial to the continuum of research, taking discoveries from the bench to a patient’s bedside, and ultimately into the community. We are proud to support such a noble cause and to advance a wide range of treatments and cures.
Please check out the digital program book to learn more about the possibilities being rewritten for patients at Lurie Children's and the Manne Research Institute.
Children’s Research Fund Letter from the Chairman:
Welcome to the Children’s Research Fund, dedicated to raising awareness and funding for the scientists and physicians of the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
More than 70 talented and energetic board members unite in advancing our mission: support for pediatric medical research at the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute, led by Tom Shanley, MD, the research institute’s Chief Research Officer and the Chairman of Department of Pediatrics at Lurie Children’s.
Since 1951, the Children’s Research fund has raised more than $117 million to support medical research. Through the Children’s Research Fund, we make a difference in the lives of children and their families throughout Chicagoland and the world.
