Children's Ball

On behalf of Co-Chairs Laura & Craig Martin and John Simpson, and the entire board of the Children’s Research Fund, thank you for helping to Rewrite the Possibilities for children through your support of the 2017 Children’s Ball. Together, we will change Stories and life trajectories through pediatric medical research.

We are pleased to share that this year’s Children’s Ball raised $3.75 million in support of pediatric medical research at the Manne Research and Lurie Children’s. Thank you to all sponsors, donors and friends who made that possible!

Children’s Research Fund Letter from the Chairman:

Welcome to the Children’s Research Fund, dedicated to raising awareness and funding for the scientists and physicians of the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

More than 70 talented and energetic board members unite in advancing our mission: support for pediatric medical research at the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute, led by Tom Shanley, MD, the research institute’s Chief Research Officer and the Chairman of Department of Pediatrics at Lurie Children’s.

Since 1951, the Children’s Research fund has raised more than $100 million to support medical research. Through the Children’s Research Fund, we make a difference in the lives of children and their families throughout Chicagoland and the world.
