Thank you to all of those who joined the Children’s Research Fund on December 3 at the 2016 Children’s Ball as we celebrated “Moments: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.” It was a fabulous evening honoring milestone moments, like the Children’s Research Fund’s 25th year of affiliation with Lurie Children’s, as well as the everyday moments made possible for patients and families thanks to medical research and support from donors like you.

If you raised your paddle but did not get a chance to complete your donation, you may do so here. You can also check out photos from Fotio and check back for additional event photos and the digital Ball Book.

Thank you again for helping to make the night a success and raise more than $2.5 million to support the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Welcome to the Children’s Research Fund, dedicated to raising awareness and funding for the scientists and physicians of the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

More than 70 talented and energetic board members unite in advancing our mission: support for pediatric medical research at the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute, led by Tom Shanley, MD, the research institute’s Chief Research Officer and the Chairman of Department of Pediatrics at Lurie Children’s.

Since 1951, the Children’s Research fund has raised more than $100 million to support medical research. Through the Children’s Research Fund, we make a difference in the lives of children and their families throughout Chicagoland and the world.

To celebrate 25 years of philanthropy for pediatric research, the Children’s Research Fund commissioned a series of videos to show the impact of their giving on patient lives and in contributions to science. Four videos are being produced featuring the doctors and patients. The second to debut is a video on Precision Medicine, past and present, featuring neuro-oncologist Stewart Goldman, MD; former brain tumor patient Stephanie and current patient Aliki.
