Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello Family and Friends!
I will be participating in my first 5K supporting Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago on June 10th.
I'm participating because the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children's Memorial Hospital) is a hospital that is very important to me. When I was diagnosed with dysautonomia in 2005, my mom brought me down to see a specialist in Children's Memorial Hospital's cardiology department. When that specialist retired, I stopped going to Children's Memorial Hospital and sought care at other hospitals and clinics. When I moved back to Chicago in 2015, I reached out to Lurie Children's Hospital looking for recommendations for adult specialists in dysautonomia. As it turns out, they had a new specialist in dysautonomia and they were able to see me until I aged out last summer.
Since moving to Chicago, I have also joined Junior Council which raises funds and awareness for the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. All around, I think Lurie Children's is a great hospital and I like to support it in any way possible.
Please help me raise money so other kids (and young adults like me) can benefit from the amazing care given at this hospital. Make a difference in the lives of nearly 200,000 patients treated at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago each year. Support my efforts for the 2017 Move for the Kids 5K Walk/Run by making a gift today. Any size donation is greatly appreciated!
All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Lurie Children's Foundation.
On behalf of the patients and families of Lurie Children's, thank you for your support!
