On June 11, 2017, I will compete in the ET Batavia Triathlon as part of Team Aidan's Army. I am fundraising for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Program at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. My 3 year old son, Aidan, passed away after 7 grueling months of treatment for a brain tumor. He died because science failed him. The shameful lack of funding for pediatric cancer research failed my son and countless others.

Did you know that each day 13 children are diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor in the U.S.?
Did you know that brain tumors are the deadliest form of cancer in children and are fatal for almost half of the children diagnosed in the U.S. every year?

May I ask you to consider making a donation to help improve the quality of care available to a child with a brain tumor? There is no donation that is too small. Every dollar raised by Team Aidan's Army is directed to a neuro-oncology research fund used to advance research and treatments of pediatric brain tumors.

All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Lurie Children’s Foundation.

On behalf of the patients and families of Lurie Children’s, thank you for your support!
