Team Lurie Children's

Aidan's Army

On June 11, 2017, Team Aidan's Army will compete in the ET Batavia Triathlon/Duathlon. Team Aidan's Army uses this race as a platform to raise funding for pediatric brain tumor research for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Program at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago.

Did you know that each day 13 children are diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor in the U.S.?
Did you know that brain tumors are the deadliest form of cancer in children and are fatal for almost half of the children diagnosed in the U.S. every year?
Did you know that over 70% of survivors of pediatric brain tumors often suffer lifelong side effects from their treatments?
Did you know that the National Cancer Institute (your federal tax dollars) only dedicates LESS THAN 4% of it's budget into research of all 12 types of pediatric cancer?

If you are in a position to do so, would you make a donation to help improve the quality of care for a child with a brain tumor? There is no donation that is too small. Every dollar raised by Team Aidan's Army is directed to a neuro-oncology research fund used to advance research and treatments of pediatric brain tumors.

All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Lurie Children’s Foundation. Please and thank you!
