Chicago Marriott Downtown
540 N. Michigan Avenue (map)
Chicago, IL 60611
Adults - $35
As a participant, you are required to raise $500. If you have a team of seven or more, your fundraising requirement drops to $400/person and is collective among your team!
We provide many fundraising tips and tools, including a personal fundraising page, to help you reach out to your network of family, friends and co-workers. You will be surprised as to how easy it is! All funds will be due on the day of the event.
CHICAGO Dance Marathon is jam-packed with entertainment and activities. Here are a few highlights:9 a.m. Event kick-off
11 a.m. Zumba
11:45 a.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. Live performance from “Semple”
2:00 p.m. Lurie Kid Talent Show
3:50 p.m. Final Power Hour
We strongly encourage you to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for this event—you will be on your feet for 8 hours after all. Athletic shorts/pants, jeans or khaki pants are appropriate. We will supply you with a Chicago Dance Marathon short sleeve t-shirt to wear at the event. Beyond that, get creative and add as much team "flare" to your ensemble as you’d like!
Our generous sponsors have provided plenty of food and water, so all you need is your dancing shoes and a whole lot of enthusiasm. Please bring as little with you as possible. There will be a coat and bag check, but we cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen items. We encourage you to keep any valuable items at home. If you have food restrictions, you do have limited space to store food but we suggest you bring a means of storage with you.
Reserve Discounted Parking
We recommend reserving parking in advance with SpotHero, a parking reservation service that connects drivers to discounted, convenient parking!
To book parking for the Chicago Dance Marathon, visit the official Chicago Dance Marathon Parking Page to find and reserve convenient parking with rates up to 50% off drive-up.
24 hour parking is also available at the ROW self-park garage at 50 E Ohio Street.
If you are getting dropped off, please use the 541 N. Rush Street Entrance.
The Marriott is also easily accessible via CTA and Buses. It is near the State & Grand Red Line stop and is also near several bus routes off of Michigan Ave.
If you have friends and family who are interested in CDM but not able to dance this year, you can invite them to “visit” the event for an hour or so on February 25 to get a taste of what it’s all about. All visitors should sign in at guest check-in.
If 8 hours of fun just isn’t enough for you, we hope you’ll join us for our official after party! Location TBD.
